- We are seeking someone who has established themselves within the insurance industry, ideally with a strong bias from one of the following; Power, Energy, Construction or Financial Lines. Alternatively you will be open to stepping away from the M&A investment world and use your experience to provide an advisory service from an insurance perspective
- The successful candidate will join the market leading team of 8 people working for PEMA (Private Equity and Mergers & Acquisition) and will be responsible for building client relationships, a profitable book of business and acquiring new clients and managing M&A and LIA (Lenders Insurance Advisory) projects
- Retaining and expanding existing client relationships and acquiring new ones.
- Identifying key decision makers, clients or prospects risks needs and determining the services, products and combinations that will best serve and address the client/prospect’s issues and objectives
- Leading the development of custom solutions to address the client/prospect needs
- Effectively presenting the solutions to the client/prospect and negotiates compensation
- Managing the financial performance of his/her book of business:
- Developing a business plan for portfolio of clients and prospects to meet specific retention and sales goals.
- Overseeing quality of deliverables and enforcing critical deadlines
- Managing projects from cradle to grave including drafting reports and coaching project team members
- Relevant Degree and at least 2 to 6 years relevant experience with managerial capacity to display leadership capabilities
- Able to speak Chinese is preferred in addition to English to support North Asian clients
- Willing to make monthly trips around ASEAN
- Possesses solid project management, business development, client management skills
- Excellent people management, time management, communication (written and verbal), presentation and problem solving skills
- Knowledge of the Private Equity industry will be a plus
