- Inspire and work with the Creative Studio team to develop innovative creative solutions, from broad concept development through to production and implementation providing clear and constructive direction throughout the process.
- Drive client take-up of creative services with high quality creative and impactful selling. Communicate and present design concepts to external and internal clients, explaining the creative rationale in the context of business objectives.
- Drive AP Marketing Services revenue growth by effectively executing client projects and briefs through Creative Studio.
- Work hands-on to ideate, craft and execute original and iconic creative concepts in response to briefs, objectives or goals.
- Develop creative ideas that meets both business objectives as well as our clients’ objectives.
- Partner with project managers, producers and local marketing teams to manage projects from concept through to completion, working with both in-house resources and third-party agency/vendors. Manage and create design components ranging from web, graphics, social as well as digital media content, print, environmental, OOH, BTL and packaging across all levels of project complexity.
- Stay updated with industry trends, tools, and best practices to continuously improve creative and design processes and output.
- Collaborate effectively with Visa Global Creative Studio, local marketing teams, and broader AP Market Support Centre Marketing Teams to develop world-class creative work.
- Make creatives come to life by conceptualizing, creating and animating storyboards, editing videos, creating mock-ups, etc. Prepare and organize final artwork delivery, ensuring all details and requirements are in place.
You will need to have a strong passion for creativity, innovative ideas, and bold execution, as well as a high level of comprehension in brand interpretation and activation. Be solutions-oriented, and able to work independently as well as be a team player. As this is a client-facing role, you will need to have strong influencing and project management skills. The successful candidate will need to be able to efficiently multi-task in a fast-paced environment, have a systematic approach and be able to navigate around ambiguity.
- Degree in Advertising, Design, Multimedia, or any related field of study.
- Minimum 10 years’ experience in a creative capacity in an advertising agency, preferably in an agency with a global network.
- Proven experience as an art director in an advertising agency or similar creative role.
- Deep understanding of different social, media channels and new technologies.
- Strong understanding of brand strategy and its implementation through design.
- Excellent visual design skills and understanding of the customer journey.
- Capability to handle multiple projects with minimal supervision while meeting deadlines.
- Proactive, organized and systematic with effective time management skills. Comfortable working in a fluid, fast-paced and hands-on environment.
- Excellent interpersonal, collaborative and relationship-building skills.
- Expert knowledge in design programs across various media (print, motion, video, digital) including Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign, After Effects, Premiere.
- Knowledge in 3D software and HTML is ideal, but not required.
