- Drafting of, and provision of legal advice on, various types of contracts including IT contracts, education- related contracts, lease agreements, and agreements relating to funding.
- Statutory interpretation.
- Provision of legal advice on administrative law, criminal law, contract law, dispute resolution and such other areas of law as may be pertinent to the workings of SSG.
- Management of, and communication with, SSG's external lawyers on/in relation to matters referred to them.
- Communication with governmental organisations and/or other statutory boards as and when required.
- Management of, and communication with, internal clients in relation to legal matters.
- Supervision of junior legal counsel(s) as and when required.
- LLB or equivalent from a recognised university.
- Preferably 5 to 9 years of legal experience (with some gained in the field of dispute resolution) gained in private practice.
- Good drafting skills.
- Meticulous in work.
- Strong ability to identify legal issues.
- Good communication skills.
