A leading international energy trading firm is seeking a Market Risk Specialist to join its growing Middle Office team in Singapore. The role will support daily market risk activities, ensuring all relevant risk factors are accurately captured across trading desks. Responsibilities include producing daily market risk reports, analyzing risk and P&L movements, validating flash P&L, participating in stress testing and system development (e.g., VaR, limit monitoring), and maintaining alignment with the company's risk appetite framework.This is a highly collaborative position, working closely with Traders, Back Office, Finance, Compliance, and other internal stakeholders to uphold control standards and ensure effective reporting and compliance with risk policies. The role offers a unique opportunity to support a global trading business expanding its footprint in Asia, Europe, and the US.Ideal candidates will have up to 5 years of experience, a strong academic background (preferably in computer science), excellent coding/IT skills, and a keen interest in commodities and trading.
