- Develop agile strategies with Service Line Directors/Operations Managers to enhance vessel acquisition efficiency, end-product quality, automation, and safety through rapidly deployed applied technologies
- Collaborate closely with the Global Geophysical Technical Group (GTG) to enhance technical and operational delivery in Marine Geophysics across all regions
- Review technical aspects of major tenders with Commercial Managers, seeking opportunities to submit alternate bids with differentiating technologies or methodologies, enhancing client offerings while improving margins
- Work closely with the GTG to discuss areas of innovation and collaborate with Legal/I.P. Teams to protect technological advancements
- Prioritize global R&D projects with Service Line Managers and Regional Business Line Directors aligned with regional business objectives
- Visit key equipment vendors to align them with company's future needs, collaborating with Resource Cost Center Managers for equipment planning and procurement
- Attend pre-project client meetings to understand principal risks and post-project debriefings to identify pain-points and lessons learned, catalyzing future applied technology enhancements
- Act as a technical advisor to APAC region technical teams, offering guidance for improved field operations with applied technology and ensuring compliance with company's innovation and best practices
- Share best practices with global MSC steering teams (USV, AUV, OWF) and influence global practices for the better
- Collaborate with BL/SL Managers to specify and achieve project objectives, particularly where differentiation and efficiencies are sought
- Ensure the successful transfer of completed product and process innovation from development teams to MSC businesses/users
- Collaborate with Operational Excellence to drive "Delivery Excellence" in Geophysical, Hydrographic, and Coastal Resilience business
- Bachelor's/Master's Degree in Electronics Engineering or related field (Advanced degree or MBA preferred)
- 8-15 years with applied technologies in geophysics and hydrographic industries; essential practical offshore project experience
- Management Experience: 3-8 years, including project management
- Strong analytical and critical thinking skills; excellent persuasive and interpersonal skills; ability to organize, plan, and strategize; good networking abilities
- Seismic engineering and hardware experience in Sonar Imagery, Acoustic/Seismic Engineering, Single/Multibeam ES, Multi-Channel HR/UHR/UUHR Seismic
