The post will be for a duration of two years.Key Responsibilities:Support the Dean and other colleagues in the development of NTU College of Humanities, Arts and Social Sciences’ Global Asia initiative.Co-lead the development of a field-defining intellectual agenda for the Global Asia initiative, in particular in the field of the history of Asian Political Thought.Identify appropriate research topics and interested researchers across and beyond the CollegeIdentify sources of revenue to support research topics, and build relations with potential donorsBuild connections with scholars and institutions throughout Asia and beyondConduct world-leading research in the field of Global AsiaJob Requirements:PhD in a relevant disciplineConduct world class research in the history and politics of Global AsiaPossess more than 10 years of research experience working in different cultural environmentsPossess Asia-wide research networks, with a strong track-record of engagement with China, India and other societies throughout the regionPossess significant experience organising academic and other events, and building scholarly networks.We regret that only shortlisted candidates will be notified.Hiring Institution: NTU
