Title: Principal Consultant, Advisory & Consulting – Pre-FEEDReporting to the General Manager, the individual will work within the Global Advisory & Consulting team, in close collaboration with the organization’s vast engineering, technology, and scientific resource base. The successful candidate will be providing consulting services and contributing to business development activities across the full range of upstream, downstream, chemical and petrochemical industry clients in the APAC region.Job Responsibilities:Delivery of studies from concept through to pre-feedDeveloping and maintaining customer relationships, ensuring customer satisfaction at project levelManaging project-related priorities and delivering high quality, accurate work within required deadlinesResolving project issues and managing risksSupporting overall sales effort through proposal/tender preparation, contract negotiation, and other client interfacing activitiesJob Requirements:Bachelor Degree in Chemical Engineering or MBA preferred15+ years of industry experience with a specific technical and/or commercial focus in the Energy, Refining and/or chemicals industriesStrong track record in managing decarbonization, green and blue energy projectsThe candidate should be able to demonstrate depth of experience and knowledge in a number of the following services areas:- Energy, Refining and/or Petrochemical market knowledge Industry competitiveness/awareness- Feasibility and configuration studies- Process design- Process operations and improvements- Project execution strategies- Direct sales experience- Client relationships in APAC regionGood analytical and problem-solving skillsExcellent verbal communication skills for interacting with clients, good cultural awarenessFlexible and willing to work extra hours as necessary to accommodate occasional workload peaksWork experience with an industry company, licensor or technical consultancy is a major plusMust be able to travel within APAC region
