Plans facilities changes for plant, office, and production equipment layouts, working toward economy of operation, maximum use of facilities and equipment, and compliance with laws and regulations. Coordinates with architecture/engineering firms in developing design criteria and preparing layout and detail drawings. Taking design input from Global Facility and construction Team (GFC) and client's MXA Facilities team to ensure capture in design drawing and specification. Prepares bid sheets and contracts for construction and facilities acquisition. Inspects construction and installation progress for conformance to established drawings, specifications, and schedules. Develops criteria and performance specifications required to meet unique operating requirements and building and safety codes. Coordinating mechanical system installation construction according to design and specification, manage design change, ensuring documentation submission approval such as shop drawing, equipment submittal, construction drawing, T&C method statement & plan, as-built drawing, O&M manual, cleanroom certification, sensor certificate in-place, warranty tracking etc.Manage construction schedule on civil, structure and architecture, scope of work and project budget. Tracking critical construction milestone. Liaison with authority department together with consultant teams for Plans submission, approval and inspection. Manage production customer request of MXA, coordinate meeting and ensure General Contractor performance meets expectations.Design and Plan System and Buildings
  • Collaborate with core team to develop semiconductor CSA and Facility systems build, from basis of design to issue for constructions for project buildouts and major infrastructure upgrades.
  • Create and design CSA systems ranging from Civil, Structure, Architecture, Exterior, Interior, Elevators and Infrastructure for buildings system set up and comply with local code & regulation.
  • Develop comprehensive understanding drawings and specifications, phasing plan, structural systems.
  • Manage all CSA system issues during concept design, detailed design, procurement, bidding, manufacturing, delivery, and installation on site.
  • Ensure designs comply with all applicable standards, codes and regulations.
  • Benchmark within and external to client's sites on Engineering and Design Best Known Methods (BKM) of Facilities buildings and systems.
  • Develop, own, and maintain Global System Standards, Specifications, and Best-Known Methods (BKM) standards for system discipline.
  • Review of the capacity planning databases, (with base build capacities, assignments, and actual field conditions) across the network and validating Utilization and diversity factor assumptions.
  • Provide system design for safe, reliable and efficient operations and maintenance; Provide and prepare all types of documents including statement of work (SOW), total cost of ownership (TCO) analysis, concept designs, drawing markup, budget, schedule, factory test and acceptance documents, final startup/commissioning reports and review and acceptance of as-builts and submittals.
Construction Execution
  • Review and supervise the construction plan and report from contractor, ensure all works comply with required quality standards and industry standard best practices are being practiced in the field.
  • Implementation of CSA requirements in the installation and test plans of the Contractor for the detailed planning and construction phase until final takeover is completed.
  • Support the project construction & safety management plan are fully implemented.
  • Ensure Quality Assurance and Control (QAQC) of project deliverables, execute construction completed works is in proper condition and meet the requirement of specifications & function.
  • Perform systems Test & Commissioning in accordance with requirement of Construction document and guarding the Owner against defects and deficiencies in the works.
  • BIM section:
  • Control the schedule and quality of discipline BIM model.
  • Responsible for reviewing the discipline BIM models to find and track clash, space management issues.
  • Responsible for coordination of the BIM models to identify clashes with other disciplines.
  • Consolidate client queries and help to coordinate with GC to resolve the issues.
  • Ensure that all issues and clashes are resolved before GC produces shop drawings.
  • Ensure the GC shop drawing is aligned with BIM model.
  • Ensure GC has used BIM models for constructability studies prior to development of shop drawings.
  • Ensure space management done with client's operations team input.
  • Ensure coordinated models are used to help identify EHS issues with all EHS team member input.
  • Ensure the construction is consistent with as-built model.
  • Ensure the required client's parameters are filled in by the GC.
  • Collect clash numbers for consolidation and reporting to client on a weekly basis.
Qualifications
  • Suitable candidates are likely to have a minimum of 8-10 years working experience in semiconductor industry and consist of 5 year's experience in design and construction as a CSA engineer.
  • Demonstrable experience in the managing of multi-disciplined semiconductor projects and/or other relevant industries is strongly preferred.
  • Practiced in project control mechanisms and with commercial and technical risk assessments
  • Strong communication skills, as well as the ability to visualize issues and communicate them to others.
  • Outstanding organization and coordinating skills – ability to coordinate and motivate groups of Consultants / Contractors.
  • Ability to work collaboratively and pro-actively in a team environment.
  • Strong ability in English speaking and writing, be able to communicate with English speaking engineers both verbally and by writing.
  • BIM section:
  • Familiar with BIM execution workflow.
  • Has experience with projects using BIM.
  • Has good understanding of BIM CDE (Common Data Environment), preferred with Autodesk Construction Cloud.
