
Product Manager & Consulting Engineer – IP Routing, Southeast Asia

- Technical leadership: Serve as a subject-matter expert (SME) for Nokia's IP routing portfolio (7750 SR, 7250 IXR, SR Linux, EDA, NSP), providing trusted technical recommendations
- Customer engagement: Lead workshops and presentations that demonstrate the benefits of Nokia's routing and data center solutions into service provider and enterprise customers.
- Evangelism & enablement: Articulate product capabilities and best practices to internal sales/presales teams and external stakeholders, driving adoption of Nokia routing and data center solutions.
- Product Influence: Collect APAC market requirements and feed them into HQ Product PLM and Engineering, driving strategic feature and solution development.
- Regional collaboration: Work closely with Nokia sales engineers, business development managers, and customer stakeholders to help win new business and ensure long-term adoption of Nokia solutions.
- Compelling communicator: adept at customer-facing engagements-presentations, white-boarding, and written/ verbal briefs-with the credibility to influence technical decision-makers.
- Solution-centric mindset: maintains a positive, constructive approach when navigating complex customer requirements and expectations.
- High-performance collaborator: self-motivated yet highly team-oriented, thriving under tight deadlines and in dynamic, high-pressure settings.
- Fluent English (spoken & written): able to convey complex ideas clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Expert IP & DC networking: deep hands-on skill with IPv4/IPv6, IGP, BGP, MPLS, Segment Routing, EVPN/IPVPN within service provider architectures; EVPN/VxLAN CLOS underlay/overlay design patterns; SRA/CCIE/JNCIE certification or equivalent strongly preferred.
- Network architecture: extensive experience architecting and designing service provider or OTT WAN and data center networks
- SDN & automation: strong grasp of gRPC telemetry, NETCONF/YANG, PCE controllers, and scripting frameworks.
- Cloud & virtualization stack: proven design/operations experience across Kubernetes, OpenStack, Nutanix, AWS/Azure/GCP networking, VMs/containers, and telco-cloud functions (vEPC, vIMS).
- 10+ years of relevant hands-on experience within IP routing and datacenter market
- Flexible with travel (focused on South East Asia) and working hours (up to 40% travel)
