CHENG LIE Navigation Company (CNC Line) is a leader in intra-Asia trade. Subsidiary of the CMA CGM Group, CNC Line offers personalized services and has specific expertise in the transport of containers with temperature control (refrigerated containers or Reefers).Role Overview
As Network & Alliance Manager, you play a key strategic role in optimizing CNC's shipping network and strengthening alliance partnerships. You will be responsible for driving cost efficiency, monitoring profitability, and ensuring robust partner engagement to support business growth. Working closely with Operations, Trade, and regional stakeholders, the manager leads monthly network and cost reviews, oversees market and competitor analysis, and evaluates new service opportunities through feasibility studies. In addition, the role includes regular reporting of cost-saving initiatives and leading a high-performing team within the Global Network & Alliance (GNA) function through recruitment, training, and performance reviews.Key Responsibilities:
  • Monthly review of the current CNC network in terms of fixed costs (with Operations) and profitability (with Head of Trade).
  • Weekly meetings with the GNA team to track and resolve partner-related issues.
  • Maintain relationships with partners through visits, negotiations, and identifying growth opportunities.
  • Monitor competitor services, rotations, and capacity movements to keep management informed.
  • Engage with Heads of Asian countries to assess their space and coverage needs.
  • Conduct feasibility studies (with Operations, Trade, and Agency teams) for new service launches.
  • Track and report Agility Savings monthly to Head Office (HO).
What We're Looking For:
  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in the container shipping industry, with a focus on business development
  • Bachelor's degree in business, supply chain, or related field
  • Proven track record of driving growth and revenue targets.
