Job Category: PRODUCTIONJob Description:The RoleAs a Machine Operator based in Singapore, you will be responsible for consistently producing quality and efficient products by performing machine operations. You'll operate material handling equipment including forklifts and overhead cranes while maintaining the highest standards of corporate governance and ensuring all activities are carried out ethically and in compliance with company policies and procedures.Key Responsibilities
  • Maintain the highest standards of corporate governance, ensuring all activities are carried out ethically and in compliance with Company Security, Compliance, Anti-Corruption Policies, Management System, and relevant laws, regulations, standards, and industry practices
  • Review shop order packets for procedural instructions and perform machine setups according to specifications
  • Perform and assist with own setups while checking dimensions of parts and maintaining tolerance of plus or minus .001
  • Understand and comply with Weatherford Quality Policy and all requirements of the Quality Systems Manual, Operating and Technical Procedures, and Workplace Instructions
  • Ensure all safety rules and company policies are understood and followed at all times
  • Carry out work assignments to the highest quality level while performing various duties as assigned by supervisor
  • Utilize inspection gauges and measuring instruments including calipers and micrometers with precision
Requirements
  • High School Education or equivalent
  • Minimum 2 years experience as a Machine Operator II
  • Ability to safely operate material handling equipment including forklifts and overhead cranes
  • Strong ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos in English
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills for carrying out detailed instructions
  • Ability to deal with problems involving standardized situations and interpret variables
  • Proficiency in reading and interpreting work orders and engineered drawing requirements
  • Experience with machine setups and precision measurement tools
  • Good working knowledge of calipers and micrometers
