Underwrite a diverse range of Property & Casualty (P&C) business, including Marine and Bond, within delegated authority
Drive the development of our Brokers channel and Financial Advisors, leading profitable business growth
Lead annual Business Planning for Brokers and Annual business, ensuring alignment with overall company strategy
Provide underwriting quotations and support to brokers and financial advisors, ensuring exceptional service delivery
Step into leadership roles in the absence of key Product Underwriters, showcasing your expertise
Review premium targets, pricing adequacy, and profitability of producers within the Brokers channel regularly
Maintain a strong pipeline of Annual accounts, demonstrating strategic planning skills
The Requirements:
Degree from a reputable institute or ACII/FCII qualification
Over 10 years of experience in insurance, with technical competence in at least 2 classes of insurance
Strong business acumen and understanding of economics and business models
Excellent relationship-building skills with producers (agents, brokers, or direct clients)
Contacts with key Reinsurers will be advantageous
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite
