Overview:We are looking for an experienced and results-driven Fuel Oil Trading Manager to lead our fuel oil trading operations across international markets. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of fuel oil trading dynamics, proven leadership skills, and a passion for driving business growth.Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement trading strategies to optimize fuel oil trading activities and achieve business objectives.
  • Monitor market trends, analyze supply and demand dynamics, and identify trading opportunities in fuel oil markets.
  • Execute trades, negotiate contracts, and manage relationships with suppliers, buyers, and trading counterparties.
  • Lead a team of fuel oil traders, providing guidance, coaching, and support to achieve trading targets and drive team performance.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including operations, logistics, and risk management, to ensure efficient execution of trades and compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Evaluate and manage risks associated with fuel oil trading activities, including price risk, credit risk, and operational risk.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including refineries, suppliers, customers, and regulatory authorities.
  • Stay informed about industry developments, regulatory changes, and emerging trends to inform trading strategies and business decisions.
  • Prepare regular reports, presentations, and analysis on fuel oil market trends, trading performance, and business metrics for senior management.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Business, or a related field; Master's degree preferred.
  • Minimum of 7-10 years of experience in fuel oil trading, with a proven track record of success in international markets.
  • Deep understanding of fuel oil market fundamentals, including pricing mechanisms, supply chains, and trading logistics.
  • Strong leadership abilities, with experience managing teams and driving results in a fast-paced trading environment.
  • Excellent analytical skills, with the ability to interpret market data, identify trends, and make informed trading decisions.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Proficiency in trading platforms, risk management tools, and financial analysis software.
  • Knowledge of regulatory requirements and compliance standards related to fuel oil trading activities.
  • Ability to thrive in a dynamic and collaborative work environment, with a passion for innovation and continuous improvement.
