Plan submarine cable routing in consultation with consortium members, operations staff, and relevant local authorities in Singapore and international waters.
Stay updated on permitting regulations and ensure compliance to support optimal cable route planning, considering cost and operational requirements.
Review and approve route survey results.
Resolve marine incidents and approve recommendations from onboard ship representatives.
Attend planning and coordination meetings with authorities (e.g., MPA, IMDA) and contractors to address marine cable routing issues.
Serve as a member of the Marine Working Group during the marine installation phase.
Maintain and update submarine cable "as-built" and "as-repaired" route information in the GIS database.

Skills for Success

Bachelor’s degree in Electronics & Communications Engineering or a related field
5–7 years of relevant work experience
Project management skills and experience
Familiarity with GIS tools and marine survey data interpretation
Experience working with regulatory authorities and multi-party project coordination.
