This role is vital in enabling our content to be found, acquire loyal visitors and nurture their interest through their healthcare journey.Key accountabilitiesResponsibilities Include:
- Planning and executing content pieces in a variety of formats for digital channels, including our hospital websites, health blog, and electronic mailers
- Curating content ideas and shaping how content can fit into overall marketing campaigns or business objectives
- Conduct research on healthcare topics and trends, and produce search engine optimised (SEO) content
- Conduct regular content review and updates across digital channels to drive marketing and user engagement
- Writing and editing medical and non-medical content, health articles, website updates and content for web profiles of health professionals
- Ensuring that copy is written according to our house style guide, and compliant with industry regulations
- Maximise the use of content and digital channels, using data to drive and support content strategies
- Repurposing content for different audiences and channels
- Support content planning and co-ordination processes across all communications channels
- Experience with writing, editing, and content development preferred
- A strong sense for story/news angles and ability to bring them to life across different content platforms
- Strong command of English grammar, spelling and punctuation
- Experience in collaborating with internal stakeholders or external agencies to meet content objectives
- Understanding of SEO and experience with tools such as Google Analytics, SEMRush/Ahrefs
- Understanding of medical terminology a plus
- Understanding of AI tools, and experience in harnessing them for content creation
- Meticulous, with strong communication and presentation skills
- Ability to work in a self-directed, fast-moving, results-oriented environment
- 2+ years of relevant experience in writing, editing and web content creation.
- Bachelor’s degree in English, linguistics, mass communications, journalism, or related fields
