- Deliver engaging lectures, tutorials, and practical/practicum sessions either in-person or via online platforms.
- Conduct classes one to two weekday evenings per week (7:00 PM – 10:00 PM) OR Saturdays (before 6:00 PM) within the specified teaching period.
- Facilitate synchronous lectures, tutorials and practical sessions, as well as asynchronous e-learning and self-directed learning, by preparing lesson materials, recording lectures, and creating online assessments.
- Design, develop, and review subject content, including setting and marking of assessments and ensuring timely entry of assessment results.
- Provide academic guidance and support to students related to the subject matter.
- Participate in subject review discussions with the designated Subject Leader at the end of the semester.
- Qualification and relevant expertise in at least one of the subject areas listed above.
- Minimum of 2 years of industry experience in the veterinary sector, with hands-on involvement in clinical practice, animal rehabilitation, nutrition, or wellness care.
- Proficient in handling and delivering veterinary care to animals, particularly companion animals and/or exotic species.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with a genuine interest in mentoring and engaging adult learners.
- Demonstrated ability to facilitate learning, with experience in adult education, training delivery, or instructional design for workshops or courses considered an advantage.
- Experience in developing e-learning materials or using digital tools to support learning will be an added benefit.
