
Assistant Manager, Student Progression

- Proactively plan and execute outreach initiatives (e.g. info sessions, tea parties, class visit engagements) to educate and encourage current students to upgrade to next-level programmes.
- Meet or exceed annual progression KPIs set by management.
- Work closely with the recruitment, academic, admissions, and student services teams to create a seamless and supportive progression pathway for students.
- Implement activities and initiatives such as academic workshops, peer sharing, and student development programmes to boost engagement and reduce attrition.
- Collaborate with the recruitment team to provide advice to students on suitable next-level options, entry requirements, and timelines. Follow up with eligible students at key decision points (e.g. near graduation).
- Establish regular follow-ups using AI or digital tools to trigger nudges, reminders, and re-engagement messages at key decision points (e.g. graduation, results release).
- Partner with internal marketing and Communications team to plan and launch omni-channel progression campaigns that highlight the benefits of internal progression and student success stories.
- Leverage AI and digital tools to optimise engagement and conversions.
- Organise and manage events such as progression (tea parties) sessions, preview sessions, and student/alumni success panels to build programme awareness and increase student progression.

- Comfortable engaging with diverse student segments from mature students to fresh school leavers.
- Preferably Polytechnic Diploma in Marketing or related fields
- Preferably 1-3 years in student advisory, academic services, admissions, marketing, or a similar education-related role.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills (written and verbal)
- Strong presentation and event coordination skills
- Ability to engage and motivate students
- Detail-oriented with good follow-up discipline
- Analytical mindset and ability to interpret student data
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, CRM systems, and digital tools
- Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 9am to 6pm.
- Work Arrangements: Hybrid (Blend of in-office and remote work)
