- Manage localisation projects, from a portfolio of clients, against all contractual obligations (SLAs and KPIs), from brief through to delivery, by utilizing optimal workflows and approved processes, ensuring project deliverables are on time and of the highest quality
- Utilize Hogarth's Translation Management System (TMS) effectively for all localisation projects
- Apply the correct process to line of work on an account-by-account basis
- Keep track of project progress and ensure relevant trackers, folders and internal drives are always up-to-date with latest files according to filing and naming convention
- Manage, monitor and update all timelines and set realistic expectations with clients or account managers
- Ensure appropriate creativity is used in transcreation/creative work by checking with creative contacts within Hogarth
- Check all materials (PDFs, emails, TVCs, etc.) and ensure quality control procedures have been followed before deliveries
- Coordinate and manage between all relevant parties - internal (Print, Broadcast, Digital etc.) and external (Clients and Agencies); and build strong day to day relationships with all stakeholders
- Identify areas for improvement in existing workflow and processes which could benefit Hogarth and/or the client and make recommendations to line manager
- Provide detailed handover notes/briefings and arrange suitable cover (if required) to ensure all work can be managed during absence(s)
- Keep line manager updated on workload/capacity and project status, reporting accomplishments/successes and escalating all issues immediately, recommending solutions wherever possible
- Demonstrate a thorough understanding of the Hogarth business model, services and technological offerings
- Manage agreed project budgets and revenue, ensuring healthy profit margin per project task
- Provide other administrative support to the team as required
- Ensure the best external talent is always used - freelancers, proofreaders, copywriters, planners where necessary (liaise with relevant dept. heads and ensure they pass relevant tests)
- Develop strong working relationships with local market translators, transcreators, copywriters, proofreaders and proofeditors
- Ensure talents are paid in a timely manner
- Support line manager in supplying client management information and reporting
- Support line manager in writing, preparing and presenting documents, presentations, agendas and reports that are tailored to each client's style and preference
- Contribute to quarterly strategic reviews with the client to ensure objectives are being met, issues raised/resolved and team has visibility of workload for planning purposes
- Ensure clients or internal stakeholders understand agreed workflows and manage them through the process
- Set and manage client expectations on deliverables, cost estimates and timeframes
- Provide regular project status reports to clients
- Be immersed in the client's brand and offering
- Generate and maintain customised account guidelines
- Prepare accurate cost estimates against client specific/adhoc rate card
- Ensure timesheets are submitted and completed on time
- Manage revenue recognition on TMS
- Handle billing process, ensuring full compliance with all financial procedures and policies
- Proactively identify and inform line manager of new revenue opportunities for existing clients/accounts (if any)
- Support and train new starters and/or junior team members
- 2-3 years experience of working in a Translation/Transcreation/Localisation and/or Project Management role, managing and servicing international accounts
- Experience in using Translation Management Systems highly preferred
- Prioritisation, time management and attention to detail
- Resilience and ability to work under pressure
- Proficiency in other languages preferred, but not a pre-requisite
- Highly organised, customer-focused, proactive and possess excellent communication skills with a clear understanding of international brand challenges
- Experience working in TV, Print and/or Digital Production preferred, but not a pre-requisite
