Key Responsibilities:Manage full set of accounts for the fleet, ensuring timely and accurate reporting.Monitor vessel OPEX, drydocking, repair, and port costs, ensuring cost control.Prepare monthly management reports and variance analysis.Oversee cash flow, payments, and liaise with banks, auditors, and external parties.Ensure crew wages, allotments, and related seafarer payments are properly handled.Provide guidance and light oversight to the HR team on payroll and HR administration.Support management with budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning.Ensure compliance with financial regulations and audit requirements.Candidate Requirements:Degree/diploma in Accounting, Finance, or related discipline.At least 5 years' experience in vessel accounting; shipping or bunker tanker experience preferred.Familiarity with vessel cost components, crew payroll, and maritime operations.Proficient in accounting software and MS Excel; experience with ship management systems is a plus.Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills.Some team supervision experience is an advantage, but the role is open to strong accountants willing to oversee light HR matters.
