We will continue to build enduring relations with the people we work with and the people we work for.Dentons Rodyk is currently seeking an experienced IT Manager with a strong technical background to lead the design, implementation, and migration of enterprise infrastructure and cloud platforms, with a primary focus on Microsoft Azure and Microsoft 365. This role owns end-to-end delivery - from discovery and design through build, cutover, and steady-state operations - while driving service excellence, security, compliance, and cost optimization. The ideal candidate combines deep Azure expertise with proven program/project leadership (PMP) and people management experience.Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead Cloud Strategy & Architecture: Define and execute hybrid-cloud strategy (on-prem + Azure), landing zones, and governance frameworks.
  • Drive Major Transformations: Oversee Azure and Microsoft 365 migrations, modernisation initiatives, and infrastructure optimisation.
  • Own Delivery & Governance: Manage scope, timelines, budgets, and risks across multiple projects using PMP best practices.
  • Ensure Operational Excellence: Oversee day-to-day operations for cloud, compute, storage, network, identity, and collaboration platforms.
  • Embed Security & Compliance: Implement security-by-design principles, including Conditional Access, Defender suite, and vulnerability management.
  • Optimise Costs & Performance: Manage cloud budgets and apply FinOps disciplines for cost efficiency.
  • Lead & Inspire: Mentor and develop a high-performing technical team, fostering a culture of innovation and accountability.
Requirements:
  • Experience: 10+ years in IT, with at least 5 years in managerial roles.
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
  • Technical Expertise:
o Proven track record in large-scale Azure and Microsoft 365 implementations and migrations.
o Strong knowledge of Windows Server, Exchange Hybrid, Active Directory, networking, and automation (PowerShell).
  • Certifications:
o Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Expert (or equivalent)
o PMP (Project Management Professional)
o ITIL v4
  • FinOps, CISM/CISSP will be an added advantage
