- Checking group reports for Asia Pacific accounts.
- Data entry into pricing model, simple pricing analysis and general support of pricing activities.
- Gather data and perform market analysis.
- Review contract wordings for changes and compare against guidelines.
- Updating of contract details within pricing system.
- Support the company in planning and organising of Corporate Responsibility events.
- Any other required duties, projects and tasks as assigned by the line manager.
- Currently working towards a university degree in a related field, e.g. Actuarial Science, Business, Economics, Finance, Mathematics, Statistics, or an insurance related field is advantageous.
- Eligible to work in Singapore (Singapore Citizen, Singapore Permanent Resident, Student Pass).
- Fluency in English is mandatory and fluency in Chinese or other Asian languages is considered a plus.
- Knowledge or prior experience in an insurance related company is advantageous.
- Minimum commitment of 6 months is required and able to work for at least 3 full days per week.
- A strong desire to learn the ropes in preparation for a career in the insurance or reinsurance industry.
- A team player with strong service quality mind-set, adaptable, analytical, detail-oriented, independent, proactive, reliable, resilient, self-motivated and willing to learn.
- Comfortable with working with data and working under pressure and uncertainty.
- Culturally savvy with broad international exposure, ideally from an experience overboard, e.g. exchange semester, overseas internship experience, or similar.
- Demonstrated adaptability, initiative and leadership qualities, e.g. co-curricular activities, previous internships, volunteer work, etc.
- Provide analytical or intellectual ability, as demonstrated by an outstanding academic track record or similar achievements.
- Very strong knowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel – Basic Functions & Pivot Table, PowerPoint, Word).
- From first week of July 2024 to end Jan 2025
- Preferred start date: 01 July 2024
