Role: Crypto Quantitative Portfolio ManagerVenture Search has partnered with a fast-growing, crypto-native proprietary trading firm that is quickly establishing itself as a leader in the digital asset space. Backed by top-tier investors and led by experienced technologists and traders, the firm operates at high frequency across global markets, leveraging advanced research, machine learning, and low-latency infrastructure.They are now expanding their Quantitative Trading team in Singapore and are looking for talented individuals with proven high-frequency trading experience and a strong technical and analytical background. While DeFi experience is preferred, the key focus is on candidates who can contribute to growth in a collaborative, impact-driven environment.Experience:
- Currently working at a firm with a strong trading pedigree - such as a U.S.-based bank, U.S. hedge fund, or U.S. proprietary trading firm
- Direct experience in high-frequency trading or market making, preferably from:
- Buy-side: Top-performing hedge funds or prop shops with a quantitative/HFT focus
- Sell-side: Electronic or algorithmic trading desks, including market making or liquidity provision roles
- Strong programm ing skills in Python and/or C++
- Willingness to relocate to Singapore
- 5+ years of professional experience in a relevant trading or research role
- Prior exposure to digital assets is not a requirement, but genuine interest in the space is important
- Experience within a high-frequency environment
