Job DescriptionPrepare and submit quotations for ship repair and modification projects.Manage follow-ups with vessels from assigned market segments or regions.Review ship repair specifications to clearly understand the owner’s requirements and prepare competitive quotations accordingly.Attend ship inspections and engage in discussions with the owner’s representatives to clarify the scope of work, either in the yard or locally, as needed.Coordinate with subcontractors to negotiate for better pricing.Gather information from the Project Team on any required additional work.Follow up with vessel owners after quotation submission to secure projects.Host and maintain relationships with owners and superintendents when they are visiting the yard.Participate in sales meetings and tender clarification sessions for ongoing business development.Conduct sales visits focused on targeted market segments.Job RequirementsDegree or Diploma in Naval Architecture, Marine, Offshore, Mechanical, or Electrical Engineering, or a related discipline.At least 2 years of relevant experience in a similar role within the ship repair or marine industry.Strong technical knowledge in relevant trades.Proactive, responsible, and customer-focused, with strong negotiation and interpersonal skills.Able to work effectively under pressure and meet tight deadlines.A collaborative team player with a strong sense of commitment and professionalism.
