
Sales Director, Intelligence and Data Solutions (IDS) – Southeast Asia

- Own and deliver revenue targets for Visa’s Intelligence and Data Solutions (IDS) products and solutions.
- Conduct consultative presales and sales conversations, understanding client challenges and designing tailored IDS solutions that drive business outcomes.
- Lead the full deal cycle from prospecting and solution design to pricing, contracting, and renewal, maintaining disciplined pipeline management and accurate forecasting.
- Negotiate complex, multi-year commercial agreements, including revenue commitment, volume rebates, and hybrid pricing models.
- Build scalable go-to-market strategies and commercial constructs for Visa’s IDS products and solutions.
- Collaborate with internal teams (product, data science, marketing, legal, compliance, and delivery) to ensure successful solution deployment and client satisfaction.
- Continuously gather market intelligence and buyer feedback to inform product enhancements, audience taxonomies, integrations, and measurement capabilities.
- Act as the South East Asia lead for data-related commercial discussions, representing Visa IDS in high-value negotiations and strategic engagements. Position Visa’s data capabilities with prospects and clients to solve their business problems.
- Represent Visa at industry events, client forums, trade publications, and panel discussions to evangelise the value of Visa’s IDS solutions and strengthen market positioning.
- Bachelor’s degree required; MBA or advanced degree
- 12+ years of enterprise sales experience in data commercialization, analytics, or SaaS-driven solutions, with a strong record of consistently meeting or exceeding revenue targets.
- Ability to translate data capabilities into actionable business impact for clients.
- Exhibit intellectual curiosity and a desire to continually learn.
- Strong commercial acumen and problem-solving skills.
- Team-oriented, collaborative, and being able to adapt to different audiences and client situations.
- Demonstrated success in closing complex, multi-stakeholder deals and managing senior client relationships.
- Experience in or selling to marketing agencies, adtech/martech platforms, other data-driven organizations in Southeast Asia.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills, with proven ability to influence senior executives and decision makers.
- Experience working in matrixed, global organizations is a plus.
