The Role Responsibilities Strategy and Approach The role holder will be responsible for leading all aspects of the assigned HR business programmes, through their lifecycle, to agreed budget and quality: Works closely with the Programme Managers to ensure good quality design decisions are implemented across programmes and aligned to the HR Investment Portfolio s Design Principles Works with Head of HR Transformation Portfolio, MT/MT-1 level stakeholders on strategic direction, scoping, delivery and benefits realisation of programmes Works with the Head, HR PMO to manage the resourcing and budget for the programmes across all workstreams, assuring the Bank s investment Works with T%26amp;I leadership teams to align direction, scope and delivery of the programmes for the overall success Works with Group COO and other relevant stakeholders to define and implement the HR portfolio approach to agile methodology and ways of working Works with the Head, HR PMO to ensure the Programmes Managers, Project Managers and Workstream Leads deliver their projects / workstreams using the Group s ePMO methodology and successfully delivers the scope with a disciplined approach to change control Manages the expectations and input of key stakeholders into the programmes Surveys the risk and issue horizon, and in collaboration with Accountable Executives and Head of Portfolio Transformation takes urgent action and drives to conclusion any items which jeopardise the programmes purpose, delivery and governance Prioritise and manage dependencies across the BAU and entire portfolio landscape and manage stakeholder expectations around the same Ensure outcomes for programme delivery are clear and agreed with Accountable Executives and Programme Managers and measures are in place to track progress Escalates key risks, issues and dependencies across the portfolio to the Head of HR Transformation Portfolio, providing status and quality updates with any remedial actions required Assures the quality of solutions developed across all aspects of the programmes are fit for purpose for the Bank, and the HR function, balancing experience, expected outcomes, cost, benefits and timelines Developing contingency plans and scenario-based options for dealing with delivery and deployment issues and challenges within the programmes Synthesising complex and conflicting information, issues, stakeholder views and creating solutions which optimise outcomes for the Bank. Create alignment across the senior stakeholder population. Conduct complex negotiations with senior (HRMT, MT-1/2 - T%26amp;I, Finance, Risk, Compliance, SCN) stakeholders with conflicting perspectives successfully throughout the programmes lifecycle Ensure the Bank s objectives around resourcing location strategy are fully met when staffing the programmes in multiple locations Manage resourcing activity across project portfolio. Work with project managers, accountable executives and COO office to identify resourcing needs and secures appropriate resources within budget envelopes. Track costs and ensure on and offboarding processes are in place for interim resources. Risk and Compliance Ensure all governance is delivered to audit quality standards Accountable for ensuring all decisions are taken within Bank governance; individual decision-making rights for relevant cloud programmes as appropriate to defined programmes governance Accountable for ensuring all operational risk, legal, regulatory and compliance sign offs are in place throughout the delivery lifecycle Proactively manage all programmes risk, across resourcing, scoping, design, build and delivery, both internal and external (HR wide and Bank wide) People and Talent Delivers a one team culture across T%26amp;I, HR and 3rd party resources. Sets the standard for and delivers a positive working culture across a new organisation in a high pressure and complex environment Promote and embed a culture of openness, trust and risk awareness, where ethical, legal, regulatory and policy compliant conduct is the norm. Promote and embed the valued behaviours into the ways of working of the entire programmes resource base. Regulatory %26amp; Business conduct Comply with the highest standards of regulatory and business conduct and practices as defined by internal and external requirements. Assess requirements and take accountability for ensuring all regulatory requirements related to the introduction of key cloud products and supporting business processes are met in a timely fashion, including data residency, data privacy, outsourcing arrangements and legal requirement Understand and ensure compliance with, in letter and spirit, all applicable laws, regulations and guidelines including those governing securities activities, company law, anti-money laundering, terrorist financing and sanctions; the Group s policies and procedures; and the Group Code of Conduct. Take personal responsibility for understanding the risk and compliance requirements of the role. Effectively and collaboratively identify, escalate, mitigate and resolve risk and compliance matters. Embed the Group s Values and Group Code of Conduct to ensure adherence with the highest standards of ethics. Comply with relevant policies, processes and regulations, as part of the culture. Key Stakeholders Group HR Director COO HR HRMT and direct reports Accountable Executives Global Head, HR Transformation Portfolio and leadership team CIO Functions Head, Technology - HR, Corp Affairs %26amp; B%26amp;M and team Our Ideal Candidate Experience working within Human Resources in the financial industry preferable Experience of leading and working within HR Cloud programmes Experience of working within Big Four consultancy environment Have worked in an international, dynamic organisation A proven track record leading successful projects. Deep understanding of ePMO processes and requirements Strong understanding of complex programmes financials and SCB financial processes Experience of working with consulting partners, managing scope and delivery Evidence of prior experience managing and influencing stakeholders at Executive/Board level and providing high quality presentations and updates Ability to balance strategic thinking, with operational detail where required to assure quality and problem solve MS Project skills Advanced MS Office Suite Skills including SharePoint Excellent communication skills - oral, written and presentation. Excellent stakeholder engagement skills and ability to adapt to different styles according to target audience. Demonstrated competency in decision making and problem solving; resource management; conflict management; leadership; and planning, prioritising and goal setting.
