Castlery is looking for a Lead Specialist, Learning and Development (L&D) to join our People & Culture Department.A newly created role, the Lead L&D Specialist will be a high-impact role in our People team, responsible for facilitating the development and growth of the Castlery crew across our global offices. The role will work closely with senior leaders and managers to understand the learning needs at both an organization and team-level, either sourcing or creating content to address those needs. To be successful in this role, you should have a solid understanding of and hands-on experience in identifying and meeting L&D needs of team members in a hyper-growth company. The job responsibilities are as per below.What you will be doing
  • Conduct formal and informal learning needs analyses at organizational, team, and country levels, factoring in local and functional nuances and differences.
  • Partner with key business leaders to develop and implement customized L&D strategies, plans, and curricula to enhance the capabilities of employees for current and future roles, promoting lifelong learning.
  • Oversee end-to-end L&D processes, including content curation, delivery methodologies, vendor selection, data analysis, and feedback management to measure learning outcomes effectively.
  • Evaluate the effectiveness of learning and development programs via qualitative and quantitative methods, proposing and implementing improvements to enhance workforce capabilities.
  • Re-design, improve, and ensure the onboarding programmes remain relevant and add maximum value for new joiners.
  • Help continue building a culture of learning based on a growth mindset.
What you'll need
  • Being fanatic in knowing, working with, and developing the best talents.
  • At least 5 years' experience in a learning and development and/or HR Business Partnering in a growth-stage start-up. Prior experience in retail, eCommerce brands is preferred.
  • Deep understanding of working professional learning, ideally with proven experience in establishing methodologies and frameworks.
  • Demonstrated ability in end-to-end program management.
  • Demonstrated capability in coaching and mentoring others.
  • Strong business background, acumen, and curiosity.
  • Problem solver and track record of developing positive organizational/culture change initiatives.
  • Confidence communicating to large, diverse audiences, spanning different functions and seniority levels.
  • Strong stakeholder management skills, with the ability to get buy-in from senior leadership.
  • Excellent written and spoken English communication skills.
