Infrastructure Engineer

• Has 4-7 years of relevant Infrastructure support and OS administration;
• Minimum 3 years hands-on working experience managing production application support;
• Hands-on experience in RHEL 6/7 OS patching, administration, and shell scripting;
• Good command of Microsoft Office products;
• Experience in monitoring tools like Dynatrace would be handy;
• Must have good communication and writing skills. Able to drive meetings and coordinate different stakeholders.

• Knowledge in MQ, Elastic Search, and AWS would be preferred;

• Responsible for driving infra project life cycle – Server provisioning to Cutover;
• Liaise with infrastructure and applications teams on requirement gathering to implementation;
• Review and analyze infrastructure architecture and identify the gaps;
• Perform RHEL OS patching and other administration tasks for cloud projects;
• Lead and guide application team to troubleshoot infra-related issues;
• Be the SME for Linux administration and automation;
• Prepares technical project plans for new initiatives in BAU;
• Work closely with with Application teams and other infra teams to develop technical solutions and enhancements;
• Drive the onboarding of new applications onto the production environment;
• Assists to deploy, maintain, and enhance the security of all infrastructure systems through administrative, preventive, detective, and reactive controls, such as change and configuration management, anti-virus measures, patch management, and system scans, through Bank’s security directives.
