The candidate is expected to work in investigating the AI tracking of coastal structures with novel sensing and monitoring, environmental modelling, and environmental impact assessment. Other topics can include:
- Experimental measurements and numerical simulations to train and validate the AI tracking algorithms
- Life cycle analysis to identify benefits of the AI tracking
- Field experiments in the coastal environment to collect good quality data
- Organisation of international meetings and forums (prior experience preferred)
- Possess at least a bachelor's degree in related areas with emphasis on AI-driven image recognition, environmental data analysis, experimental testing in the field and laboratory, hydrodynamic modelling, or relevant topics. Having a master's degree in civil engineering is preferred.
