Responsibiltes
  • Managing the daily operations and upkeep of RAN equipment.
  • Diagnosing and resolving network issues to maintain performance.
  • Implementing updates and upgrades for RAN components.
  • Monitoring and enhancing the RAN's efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Perform RF testing and optimization for Outdoor 4G and in future 5G in-building projects.
  • Troubleshoot, design and plan of RF network coverage using of RF test tools e.g. Spectrum Analyzer etc.
  • Monitor and identify network failures, execute corrective actions, report and update customers, liaise with maintenance agencies and building owners, and assist in log retrieval.
  • Service new UEs, update software, confirm failures, assist in tracking and remote wipe of lost UEs.
  • Provide software support, basic troubleshooting, and escalate to application vendors when necessary.
  • Support Project Team to meet project delivery milestone.
  • Work with sub-contractors to ensure work quality & timely delivery.
  • Prepare technical documentation and reports.
  • Able to travel around Singapore mainland, Singapore territorial waters, Singapore offshore islands/locations. (at least 4 hours of sail time one-way).
  • Able to perform standby duty and shift work.
  • Able to climb Jacob Ladders (must be able to clear the Jacob ladder course which is the only way to access certain offshore sites from the vessel.)
Requirement
  • ITE, Diploma or equivalent academic qualification.
  • Positive work attitude and self-motivated, with a customer first mindset.
  • Possess 3-years working experience in out-field operations, with at least 1-year relevant experience in the mobile network industry.
  • Possess experience in commissioning / maintaining of BTS equipment.
  • Possess Class 3 driving license (candidate is required to drive company van).
  • Experience in RF Testing for indoor or outdoor is an advantage.
  • Experience working in Network Operation Centre (NOC) is an advantage.
