Job Description:The CompanyOur client is a global leader in the chemical/petrochemical trading sector. As part of their continued growth plans for the region, they are seeking a Financial Analyst to be based in their regional headquarters in Singapore.The RoleReporting to the Regional Business Controller, you will be responsible for overseeing the consolidation and analysis for the monthly financials and annual business plan for the APAC countries. You will also
  • Work closely with the various countries to review and monitor capex investments and provide suitable recommendations accordingly.
  • Support treasury activities via consolidation of countries currency sensitivity and exposure as well as discounted cash flow modelling for the purpose of impairment testing.
As the successful candidate, you will have the opportunity to partner closely with the business and play an active role in supporting various process improvement and efficiency initiatives as well as the digitalization and transformation projects.Your ProfileAs the successful candidate, you will possess a degree in Accountancy or ACCA with the following relevant experience
  • At least 5 years of relevant working experience in financial planning and analysis (FP&A) within a trading/distribution environment
  • Prior working experience in one of the Big 4 audit firms
  • Exposure within an MNC environment with exposure to inventory will be essential
  • Proficient with Microsoft Excel and/or Macros and good working knowledge of SAP
