Asia Development is a newly established function focused on enhancing patient outcomes in the region by delivering faster and more effectively. It aims to strengthen R&D in Asia by leveraging regional expertise and global capabilities to drive sustainable impact.The Asia Development Innovative Data Solutions team consists of visionary thought leaders who harness the power of data and cutting-edge technologies such as AI/ML to solve business challenges and drive impact. From unlocking insights to streamlining processes and accelerating timelines, the team delivers solutions that go beyond execution. By working collaboratively with teams across GSK, the team combines expertise to co-create innovative approaches that enable better outcomes for patients and communities in Asia and beyond.Position Summary
This is an exciting leadership opportunity to ensure the execution of clinical data management deliverables and other data needs for a therapeutic area in the Asia Development portfolio. The role will elevate the voice of Asia in R&D on topics related to data and innovation. Collaboration is key, as you will work with cross-functional teams centrally and regionally to ensure data solutions align with business needs. The initial focus will be on Japan and China. We value candidates who are proactive, detail-oriented, visionary, and passionate about leveraging data to make a meaningful impact.Key ResponsibilitiesDevelop and implement an Asia data strategy for the therapeutic area, ensuring alignment with business goals.Manage data governance, security, and compliance to maintain high-quality and reliable data, including inspection support.Collaborate with central and regional teams to integrate data solutions and share best practices.Identify opportunities to leverage advanced analytics, including AI/ML, to enhance capabilities.Build and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders to understand business needs and deliver impactful data solutions.Why you?
Basic Qualifications:Bachelor’s degree in Life Sciences, Medical, Pharmacy or a related field.Experience in the pharmaceutical or healthcare industry.Minimum of 5 years of experience in data management, analytics, or a related role.Strong understanding of data governance, security, and compliance in a regulated environment.Proven ability to manage complex projects and collaborate across teams.Strong written and verbal communication skills in a multicultural environment.Expertise in a specific therapeutic area (e.g. oncology, vaccines, immunology).Preferred Qualifications:Master’s degree in a relevant field.Knowledge of advanced analytics techniques, including AI/ML.Hands-on experience with citizen technology tools (e.g., Power BI, PowerApps).Experience in Product Model and Agile mindset.Certification in Lean Six Sigma, change management, project management methodologies, or design thinking.Work Arrangement:
