
Assistant Director - HR Operations and Technology

- Lead and manage the team in the delivery of day-to-day HR operations, including employee data management, onboarding and offboarding processes, work pass administration, and other employee life-cycle activities.
- Drive continuous improvement, process harmonisation and standardisation across HR operations, and identify opportunities for automation and digital enablement.
- Ensure HR operational policies, procedures, and workflows are documented, updated, and compliant with internal controls, governance requirements and regulatory standards.
- Serve as project lead for new HR technology initiatives, collaborating closely with HR functional leads, Corporate IT and external vendors to ensure timely and successful implementation.
- Oversee the ongoing administration, maintenance, and optimisation of HR systems to ensure seamless daily operations; provide training and guidance to end-users to maximise system adoption and effectiveness.
- Develop and implement an analytics framework to advance from standard reporting to predictive analytics, delivering actionable insights and recommendations to the HCM leadership team and key stakeholders.
- Enhance HR dashboards, key metrics and reports that support workforce planning, decision-making and business strategies.
- Partner with relevant teams to champion HR digitalisation initiatives, including identifying, piloting and scaling automation tools and emerging technologies.
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Human Resource Management, Information Technology or a related discipline; a double degree or relevant certifications in both IT and HR would be highly advantageous.
- Minimum 15 years of progressive HR operations experience, including at least 5 years in a leadership capacity managing a team.
- Strong working knowledge of end-to-end HR processes, policies, and best practices across the employee lifecycle.
- Proven experience in HR process re-engineering, workflow improvement, and system implementation and optimisation.
- Hands-on experience with major enterprise HR systems (e.g. SAP HCM, SuccessFactors, Workday, etc.).
- Demonstrated ability to drive HR digital transformation and automation initiatives.
- Solid track record in leading complex projects, with strong stakeholder management and vendor management skills.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate data into meaningful insights; experience with data visualisation tools (e.g. Power BI, Tableau) and basic statistical analysis is a plus.
- Excellent interpersonal, communication and problem-solving skills, with a high degree of initiative, adaptability and resilience.
