- Prepares test plans, test cases and test scripts to test each software component and demonstrate the business condition under test and the expected results.
- Execute regression tests, functional tests, and data tests.
- Test environment setup, defects tracking and coordinating with PO users and tech team to resolve the issues and determine defect priority.
- Estimates work requirement for contribution to the project sprint plan, report, and track UAT deliverables.
- Stays abreast of QA & Testing best practice and latest available tools (HP Quality Centre and ALM), frameworks and standards.
- Ensures high Quality and accuracy is maintained through to software release.
- Degree in Engineering, IT, or equivalent field
- Minimum 1 year experience in web and mobile application testing in the banking industry
- Good analytic skills to process complex requirement to come up with end-to-end scenarios and test cases.
- Familiar with Agile and waterfall methodology and understand the life cycle of testing in both automated and manual testing.
- Understanding of Java and VB Scripting is a plus. For automation QA role, hands on of selenium or Appium is a consideration.
- With stakeholder engagement skills and good verbal and written communication, as this will need to collaborate closely across multiple teams during project execution.
- Good team player with excellent organizational skills and can work independently with minimum guidance.
