-Perform billable services engagements, including installation/implementation of IBM Spectrum Protect
-Conduct Technical Training and educate Operations Team on IBM Spectrum Protect solutions and storage management
-To support 24/7 shiftIn depth Knowledge on- IBM Tivoli Storage Manager Server on Windows & UNIX
- Knowledge on TSM Server and Client Options
- IBM Tivoli Storage Manager for Database (Oracle, DB2, SQL etc)
- IBM Tivoli Storage Manager for Mail(Domino and Exchange)
- IBM Tivoli Storage Manager for Vmware
- NDMP Backup using IBM Tivoli Storage Manager
- DRM Implementation and Management using Tivoli Storage Manager
- Veritas Netbackup BAU operations for VM backup and recoveryKnowledge on Tape Libraries and LTO Tape Drives
Audit application backup policies and environments
Responsibilities include providing remote and onsite support
Analyse and resolve escalated problems within target
Support TSM Product on OS like Winows, AIX,Solaris, Linux (basic Unix) ,DB2 and networkingRequirements
- Min 5 years of technical experience in TSM.
- Min Dip in IT or equivalent
- Good Communication(Oral & Written) skills is essential
- Experience in managing Junior/ Senior support personnel.
- Ability to quickly analyze & diagnose the problem
- To participate & Work with Local & Global Team
- Ability to acquire skills & keep them updated
- Independently generates solutions based on analytical, technical skills and business knowledge
