- Partner with hiring managers to identify current and future personnel needs.
- Liaise with Talent Acquisition Partner / Agencies / Institutions, Total Rewards Partner & Shared service Agent to ensure that the open positions are filled in a timely manner.
- Orientate new joins on the company’s policies and employee benefits & programs.
- Coach Managers and supervisors on Performance Management & Performance Improvement Plan.
- Attract, retain and motivate talent by keeping abreast of market compensation and benefits practices and assist to develop competitive compensation and benefits packages.
- Workforce planning, tracking & reporting.
- Coordinate Leadership Development Reviews (LDR).
- Coordinate and prepare the annual increment exercise and variable bonus scheme.
- Administer the global rewards and recognition program.
- Coaching and support Managers and Supervisors on ER issues.
- Lead the Collective Agreement negotiation with the union, update employee handbook & policies.
- Support employee communications sessions and when required, participate in cell communications as required.
- Drive and support employee engagement, satisfaction, experience & retention initiatives.
- Facilitate and support Diversity, Equity and Inclusion (DE&I) initiatives.
- Develop and drive Wellness Programs by managing the Recreation Committee.
- Participate or lead improvement programs/initiatives.
- Compliance to Personal Data Protection Act & Privacy Act. On employees’ data.
- Track, plan and monitor HR activities on Macro Plan.
- Update new or revised policies accordingly.
- Support internal & external audits as required.
- Monthly and quarterly headcount reporting to Finance, EDB and etc.
- Ensure employees’ data in HRIS is accurate and liaise with Shared Service.
- Contribute, participate and organise the Group HR Aerospace meeting and uses benchmark where necessary.
- Compliance and support internal & external audits, such as e-Sox, Finance & EHS.
- Be part of EHS steering committee for Illness/Injury Management.
- Be the sub-admin for Corp pass user and super user for local leave system/Time & Attendance system.
- Administer the local leave and time & attendance system.
- Check and approves payroll.
- Minimum of 8 years of solid HR Manager/HRP experience
- Minimum of 3 years of leading a team
- Strong people management skills
- Broad knowledge of various HR disciplines such as Compensation and Benefits, Employee Relations, Industrial Relations,
- Good communication skills and the ability to gain
- Knowledge and application of HR laws and related laws and regulations affecting the effectiveness of the job.
- Effective project management and organizational skills
- Working knowledge of Continuous Improvement
