- Design analog and power circuits, including schematic design and PCB layout, based on requirements and specifications.
- Collaborate with a team to test, validate, and debug analog and power circuits.
- Develop and implement calibration algorithms for accurate performance.
- Characterize and evaluate the performance of analog and power circuit designs throughout various stages, from initial builds to production release.
- Manage instrument hardware and oversee measurement, characterization, and calibration processes during the development phase and into production.
- Design and modify test stations, analyze test data, and provide recommendations for product specifications.
- Create comprehensive technical documentation for analog and power circuit designs.
- Review, evaluate, and participate in setting production line specifications based on statistical data analysis.
- Guide the transition of products and manufacturing processes into production and provide support throughout the entire product life cycle.
- Bachelor/Master/PhD Degree in Computer Engineering or Electrical/Electronic engineering.
- Min 5 years working experience in R&D or similar product generation environment as electronic and FPGA firmware engineer.
- Strong proficiency in digital circuit design and FPGA firmware design.
- Extensive experience in reading and understanding electrical schematics, technical drawings, datasheets, and written work instructions.
- In-depth knowledge and experience in testing and trouble-shooting circuit and FPGA firmware design.
- Good organizational skills and ability to thrive in a fast-paced, results-driven environment.
- Hands-on experience with lab-based debugging and validation of circuits.
- Self-motivated and capable of working independently while following high-level objectives.
- Demonstrated analytical problem-solving skills and excellent communication abilities.
- Proficiency in coding, synthesizing, and simulating Verilog and VHDL RTL implementations using Xilinx FPGA.
- Knowledge of general communication protocols, such as I2C, SPI, JTAG, UART.
- Familiarity with analog and digital measurement techniques.
- Experience using electronic test and measurement equipment for validating analog and power circuits.
- Experience with design using Intel FPGA (Cyclone V SoC) and Xilinx FPGA (Spartan 7) would be advantageous.
- Proficiency in FPGA firmware CAD design tools Vivado and Quartus.
- Understanding of hardware, firmware, and software/hardware interactions is highly desired.
