Come join us and build some cool solutions together for the world.Job DescriptionMECHANICAL ENGINEER INTERNMechanical Design and Development of UAV Drone SystemsDesign and development of UAV related systems1. Design UAV related systems and infrastructure2. Prototype, fabricate and manufacture parts3. Assist in testing of prototypes and recording of test results4. Design product improvements5. Design features to improve manufacturability, assembly and repair6. Liaise with external parties and suppliers for production and to ensure parts made are within specificationsJob Role Responsibilities:General Mechanical Design Tasks1. Create jigs/fixtures that aid in testing and quality control2. Create structures that aid in day to day operations3. Liaise with external parties and suppliers for production and to ensure parts made are within specifications4. Be the subject-matter expert in all aspects of mechanical designOperating, Servicing and Maintenance of 3D printers1. Conduct preventive and corrective maintenance2. Ensure 3D printers are in working order3. Be the subject-matter expert in all aspects of 3D PrintingJob Requirements:1. Fluent in Solidworks (or other CAD softwares) for mechanical design2. General appreciation for mechanical engineering concepts i.e. Stress and Strain, Design for Manufacturing and Assembly (DfMA), Design for Repair, Geometric Dimension & Tolerancing (GD&T)3. Experience with 3D printing and fabrication processes is a plus4. Possess good communication skills5. Be self-directed and self-motivated6. Ability to work in a team7.
