The Research Fellow will work on a project to conduct the research on development of high-energy femtosecond fibre lasers for multiphoton imaging applications. The project is to introduce innovative fiber laser technology to enable low-cost medical diagnosis through multi-photon imaging for brain disease studies. As we strive to make a significant impact on healthcare, we are seeking a talented and motivated Research Fellow to join our team.Key Responsibilities:Conduct research on ultrafast fibre laser, chirped pulse amplification system tailored for multi-photon imaging applications.Collaborate with specialty fiber developer and laser application group to define laser performance requirements.Develop a simulation tool or template to study evolution of ultrafast pulse in a laser cavity.Document findings, publish papers and present at conferences.Job Requirement:PhD in Electrical and Electronic, Physics or a related field, with specialisation on fibre lasers.3-year research experience in related area.Expertise in mode-locked fibre laser.Strong knowledge in fibre design, ultrafast pulse dynamics, soliton dynamics.Demonstrated track record of publications.Proficiency in laser design software, simulation tools and optical modelling.We regret that only shortlisted candidates will be notified.Hiring Institution: NTU
