
Lead Product Manager (Private Markets)

- Takes full ownership of the lifecycle of an assigned product portfolio
- Responsibility for the timely and error free execution of the team's assigned service catalogue
- Ensures timely and seamless launch of funds, restructurings and wind-downs in close collaboration with sales, structuring, operational teams and external service providers
- Proactively interacts with internal and external stakeholders and service providers to assess satisfaction, identify issues and independently implement robust solutions
- Solves complex operational issues involving several teams, finding win-win solutions thanks to excellent negotiation skills
- Acts as partner for sales in finding solutions for clients while representing operational capabilities assertively
- Leading team-relevant projects and contributes to business unit-relevant projects
- Reviews output of junior team members and trains less experienced Product Managers, delivers targeted education sessions for the wider team
- Highly knowledgeable of regulatory and legal environments
- Is an expert with regards to Partners Group's operational platform
- University degree or equivalent, with emphasis on business administration, finance or economics
- Minimum of 8-10 years of professional work experience in banking, asset management or private markets
- Knowhow in the launch and onboarding, implementation and the operational set-up of innovative fund and investment structures is a plus
- Relevant experience managing the lifecycle of investment fund products end-to-end
- Independent and self-directed person, able to manage effectively and complete complex operating tasks in demanding timelines and with competing priorities
- Ability to train, coach, and mentor junior team members
- Proven ability to work with others and generate impact in a team environment, willing to go the extra mile
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to adapt communication style to different audiences
