Our culture is built on doing what’s right, learning from challenges, and growing together.Key ResponsibilitiesDesigns the position of boxes on the ship and produces a layout that is seaworthy which means safe to sail, which include dangerous goods are segregated safely, bays are set-up to allow maximum number of cranes to work on it, weight is evenly distributed, stability and stresses and safety criteria are met.Upholding high standards of stowage planning to ensure safe and maximum vessel utilisation with minimum operational costsFollow through the entire stowage process with stakeholders at any time of the day where the ships areEvaluating and determining the suitability of vessels deployed in the service based on trade requirements and vessel characteristicsConstantly reviewing and updating SOPs to ensure optimal performance for the team and all stakeholders involvedWorking closely with the various internal and external stakeholders (terminals, regional operations, ship commands, nautical, network, deployment etc) to ensure smooth operationsIdentify all potential issues which may affect operations, highlighting and following up with the necessary actions to prevent/mitigate any impact from contingenciesWe are looking forCandidates with around 3 years of experience in:Stowage planningTerminal planningContainer shipping operationsSeafaringNaval Architect / EngineerThis role involves working non-standard hours, including rotational night shifts, to support vessel schedules and berthing windows.We are looking for individuals who are self-driven, responsible, and thrive in fast-paced, dynamic environments. Strong time management, adaptability, and agility are essential, along with excellent communication and teamwork skills to coordinate with diverse stakeholders across cultures.Candidates must also be agile to learn to new technology and operating systems, as the role requires mastering multiple programs and software. Comprehensive training will be provided, and successful candidates must complete both the Basic Theory and Basic Stowage Proficiency Assessments.If you think you have the qualities above, then you may just be the candidate we are looking for.
