- Mentoring the Team in areas of Sales, Processes and Compliance Regulations.
- The team lead shall also possess leadership qualities to lead and guide and act as a role model to the rest of his team mates.
- The Team Lead will also serve as a coach to the new hires for product knowledge and guidance on documentations and processes.
- Acquire qualified New-To-Bank customers through contacts, referrals from clients and business development activities locally.
- Procure new business through customer acquisition and manage relationships with existing customers.
- Engage other departments to get referral opportunities.
- Attuned to the current economic and financial markets by attending trainings so as to be current and proficient in addressing customer's queries.
- Achieve individual sales targets for wealth management, treasury products and insurance.
- Provide sound financial advice and dispensing customised solutions in alignment with the bank's standards and industry regulations.
- Work towards Preferred Banking's intended goals.
- Deliver client satisfaction through tailored solutions according to client objectives and service issue resolution.
- Achieve service standards set by the bank.
- Possess strong interpersonal and communication skills, self-motivation, outstanding ability to sell, strong writing and presentation skills, excellent negotiation, closing and follow-up skills.
- Committed in the improvement of self towards becoming a good ambassador of CIMB Preferred.
- Comply with all internal policies, procedures, processes as well as regulatory requirements.
- Attend all trainings.
- Degree/Diploma in any discipline
- Possess the relevant certifications, e.g., CLI, CGI, HI, M1B, M5, M6, M6A, M8, M8A, M9 and M9A
- At least 3 years of relevant Sales experience in Retail Banking
- Strong understanding of financial compliance and regulatory requirements in Singapore
- Able to work independently with minimal supervision
- Service-oriented with strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Self-motivation, outstanding ability to sell
- Strong writing and presentation skills, excellent negotiation, closing and follow-up skills
