Combining strong account management with a proactive, hunter approach to business development, you’ll be responsible for identifying growth areas, expanding our footprint, and delivering impactful logistics solutions. The scale of our supply chains requires an incredible amount of coordination and planning across multiple countries and continents.Bigger, more complex challenges give you the chance to develop and grow faster, but also learn new skills from different teams all around the world.Key Responsibilities:Client Strategy and planningManage and develop the relationship with the sub-entity of the contractual customer in line with Maersk/global strategyDevelop local value proposition to be included on the global tenderDevelop local business plan for increasing overall supply chain Share of Wallet and position Logistic & Services productsGrow local presence across products with the sub-entity of the customer through new opportunities–also through sub-suppliers.Define the local value proposition and work closely with local product organization to grow and deliver revenue growth supporting the local product P&LCustomer SatisfactionSupport the overall customer experience and support global value propositionDeliver client profitabilityEnsure successful business onboarding and contract complianceCustomer RelationshipPosition Maersk towards the local influencers of the global tender success and towards local decision makers on country relevant productsWe are looking for:A seasoned professional with over 10 years of experience in Logistics and Supply Chain, possessing broad knowledge across all transport modes and a strong capability in delivering consultative, insight-driven solutions across Maersk’s service offerings.Possesses expertise within the Industrial and/or Oil & Gas Energy fieldsHigh-level product understanding including how it solves different customer pain-pointsStrategic influencingNegotiation skills/procurement tacticsStrategic partnering, financial acumen, matrix management, value co-creator, presentation skillsSelf-driven individual with the ability to work independentlyMaersk is committed to a diverse and inclusive workplace, and we embrace different styles of thinking.
