Our client, a global professional services company, is seeking a Regional HR Manager to manage their APAC offices and operations (~200 headcounts). This is a permanent role, based in their Singapore office. ...about the jobReporting into the Managing Director (Regional), you will lead a team of 3 - 4 as the Head of Department and be responsible for providing HR management guidance, advisory and support across the APAC market. In addition, you will:
- Provide HR advisory and end to end HR support to the regional businesses including talent acquisition, talent management / succession planning, compensation & benefits, learning & development and HR operations
- Act as a business partner and role model to ensure HR supports the company's wellness and people-based goals, driving an active / collaborative culture and strong DNA
- Actively collaborate with regional leadership team to develop region and market-specific policies
- Conduct HR orientation and all new hires in the region; including policy overviews and new hire documents
- Maintain high service delivery standards across all functions of HR, engaging actively with the company's global HR team to ensure Best Practices are shared across all markets
- Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration or other related disciplines
- At least 10+ years experience in HR Business Partnering and Operations, regional experience is essential
- Track record in supporting organisation change, re-designing of HR processes and procedures
- A strong team player; excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Enjoys a collaborative environment and an aptitude for driving wellness and culture
- Strong knowledge of local employment law, with pragmatic approach to HR and the ability to find commercial solutions in line with best practice and firm strategy
- Pro-active and task oriented, with strong written and verbal communication skills
