- Product OKRs & Metrics: Define what 'good' looks like by setting up a product metric framework and quarterly OKRs.
- Tracking & QA: Define which user behaviours need to be tracked and work with engineers on the implementation and QA.
- ETL & Reporting: Building data pipelines and self-service dashboards.
- Experimentation: Enable a learning culture and iterative product development lifecycle through sound experimentation (AB tests)
- Exploratory Analysis: Drawing insights from data to drive product strategy & roadmap by quantifying problem spaces and sizing feature impact
- Team Leadership & Delivery Management: Manage team outcomes by setting up effective processes, actively prioritizing tasks, planning resources, reviewing deliverables, and resolving technical issues to ensure high-quality, timely output.
- Strategic Partnership & Influence: Act as a thought partner to product leadership, co-shaping product and business strategy. Develop strong hypotheses to uncover deep insights and drive impactful business outcomes. Fostering a culture of experimentation, innovation, and continuous learning in your team and the wider organization.
- Stakeholder Management & Communication: Collaborate directly with senior product and business stakeholders. Navigate competing priorities and drive alignment across product, business, and other functions. Help teams and senior executives make informed trade-offs in complex decision-making environments.
- Data Strategy & Foundations: Contribute to product analytics foundation, collaborating with data foundation and engineering teams to improve instrumentation, experiment platform, data quality, and self-serve analytics capabilities.
- Team Development & Coaching: Lead and grow a team of analysts and a junior manager by setting clear goals, providing coaching and feedback, and fostering both functional excellence and soft skills development to build a high-performing, motivated team.
- Bachelor's or advanced degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Economics, Computer Science, Computer Engineering or an equivalent education.
- 8+ years of experience in product analytics, data science, or a related field, with at least 3 years in a leadership or people management role.
- Background in statistics, strong understanding of statistical test, causal inference, preferably hands on experience in designing and running A/B tests at scale
- Deep expertise in SQL and strong proficiency with analytical tools (e.g., Python, R, dbt, Looker, Tableau, or similar).
- Experience working with large scale user data (transactional, click stream etc.)
- Proven ability to translate complex data insights into strategic business recommendations.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, including experience influencing senior cross-functional leaders and presenting to executive audiences.
- Proven track record of leading and developing high-performing analytics teams, including hiring, mentoring, and performance management.
- Ability to thrive in a dynamic, fast-evolving, and cross functional environment, managing shifting business priorities, balancing strategic thinking with attention to execution.
- Experience in a growth-focused business model, preferably within consumer tech or platforms (e.g., marketplaces, delivery, fintech, or mobility).
- Experience in strategy roles or projects within consulting, technology, retail, or related industries.
- Experience with modern data warehousing (e.g., BigQuery, Snowflake, Redshift) and data governance best practices.
