You will manage risk, liquidity, and exposure, supporting all aspects of the trading desk, including pre-trade analysis, research, and strategy design for large trades. Your role is pivotal in evaluating market developments to provide clients with accurate product information.Job Responsibilities:
  • Provide a meaningful contribution to revenue and client franchise.
  • Understand market drivers, market moves, and the numbers behind it all.
  • Exhibit sound judgment under pressure and maintain composure through challenging trading environments.
  • Outperform the market and competition through both bottoms-up and top-down analysis.
  • Understand drivers of relevant markets and establish a high degree of competence with clients around market making.
  • Build a foundation of trust with clients by demonstrating an understanding of their needs.
Required Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills:
  • 5 years' experience as a credit trader on the sell-side with a proven track record.
  • Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Economics, or other related disciplines.
  • Solid client relationships on the buy-side.
  • Excellent communicator and team player.
  • Strong market analytics and technical skill sets.
  • Proficient product knowledge of bonds, credit default swaps (CDS), and relevant cross-asset products.
  • Client-first approach to business and franchise.
Preferred Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills:
  • Advanced degree in Finance or related field.
  • Experience in managing large-scale trades.
  • Familiarity with regulatory requirements in trading.
  • Ability to innovate and adapt strategies in dynamic market conditions.
  • Strong leadership skills and experience in team management.
