We're looking for an experienced Data Scientist to join our client's team in Singapore and drive impactful solutions in the financial services space.Responsibilities:Develop and deploy machine learning models using supervised and unsupervised learning techniques.Apply outlier and anomaly detection methods to improve risk monitoring and business decision-making.Work with large, complex datasets to deliver actionable insights for high-stakes projects.Collaborate with cross-functional teams (business, technology, and compliance) to translate requirements into data-driven solutions.Contribute to the continuous improvement of data science practices and methodologies within the team.Requirements:5-8 years of hands-on data science experience in a banking or financial services setting.Strong expertise in machine learning (supervised, unsupervised, anomaly detection).Proficiency in Python, R, SQL, and modern ML libraries (e.g., Scikit-learn, TensorFlow, PyTorch).Analytical mindset with experience handling large and complex datasets.Strong communication and stakeholder management skills to explain models and insights clearly.Nice to HaveExperience in banking, financial crime, AML/KYC, or network link analytics.Knowledge of MAS/HKMA AML/CFT regulatory requirements.Familiarity with cloud data platforms and MLOps practices.
