Job DescriptionWe're searching for a talented and technically skilled 2D Game Artist to join our creative team. The ideal candidate will have a strong portfolio demonstrating expertise in various 2D art styles and proficiency in industry-standard software. You will play a crucial role in creating visually compelling art assets that resonate with our audience and align with the innovative spirit of our web3 studio.Key Responsibilities
  • Design and create a wide range of 2D game-art assets, including characters, environments, UI elements, icons, and animations.
  • Utilise industry-standard software including, but not limited to Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, and Animate for asset creation.
  • Work closely with the art lead and game designers to maintain visual style guides.
  • Ensure all assets are optimised for performance and quality across various mobile devices.
  • Collaborate with the development team to implement art assets into the game.
Requirements
  • At least 3+ years experience in creating game art and animations.
  • Strong portfolio showcasing a variety of 2D art styles, particularly in vector and animation.
  • Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite (e.g. Photoshop, Illustrator, and Animate) and 2D animation softwares (e.g. Spine).
  • Familiarity with game engines (e.g. Unity) is a plus.
  • Excellent understanding of composition, colour theory, and visual storytelling.
  • Ability to adapt to different artistic styles as per project requirements.
  • Strong organisational skills to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
  • Passion for games, with a particular interest in mobile gaming and web3 technologies.
