Key Responsibilities:- Manage and lead a team of staff, including hiring, training, and performance management- Oversee the procurement and delivery of products and services to our clients, ensuring timely and efficient operations- Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients and suppliers, ensuring customer satisfaction and loyalty- Monitor and analyze operational processes, identifying areas for improvement and implementing solutions to increase efficiency and reduce costs- Develop and implement operational strategies and policies to support the growth of the business- Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and standards- Monitor and manage inventory levels to ensure adequate stock levels are maintained- Prepare and present reports on operational performance to senior management- Collaborate with other departments, such as sales and finance, to ensure smooth operations and achieve business objectives- Stay updated on industry trends and developments, and make recommendations for improvement and growth opportunities.Qualifications and Skills:- Bachelor's degree in business administration, supply chain management, or a related field- Minimum of 5 years of experience in operations management, preferably in the maritime industry- Strong leadership and people management skills- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills- Proven track record of implementing operational improvements and achieving results- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines- Proficient in Microsoft Office and other relevant software- Knowledge of maritime industry regulations and standards- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively.
