From automating processes to leveraging smart factory technologies, robotics, and additive manufacturing, GE Aerospace is shaping the future of aviation at GE Aerospace Engine Services Singapore (GEAESS).GEAESS is our largest site for engine component Maintenance, Repair, and Overhaul (MRO), responsible for more than 60% of our global repair volume.Role Overview:Operate fluid dispenser, tack welding machine, powder blenders, grit blast machineApplication of braze material onto required areas of the hardwareEnsure all operations are performed in accordance to Work InstructionsEnsure cleanliness of hardware and samplesPerform scheduled maintenance & housekeeping tasksLiaise with relevant personnel on concerns relating to production, quality, EHS, materials and maintenanceAssist Facilitator in integrating and training of new employeesAny ad-hoc duties as assignedThe Ideal Candidate:Prior experience working with tack welding machine, power blenders, grit blast machineRequired Qualifications:Minimum GCE ‘O’ level and/or with 3 years of relevant experienceAble to read and understand the manufacturing operation sheets and standard operation procedures in EnglishPreferred Qualifications:Steady hands for effective control of alloy application tools.Knowledge of industrial safety regulationsA team playerAdditional InformationRelocation Assistance Provided: No
