Job Description:The incumbent shall assist the Senior Manager in leading the Operations Department to drive operational excellence in the Nursing Home.This includes ensuring that the Nursing Home is in compliance with all regulatory, licensing, safety, and environmental requirements; as well as implementing measures to ensure that the physical integrity of the building structure, its appearance, and optimal functions meet the necessary standards.
  • Lead and manage the Operations team in ensuring the smooth delivery of the facilities, laundry, housekeeping, fire command center, and transportation services in the nursing home.
  • Plan, communicate and implement policies, and ensure procedures meet operational excellence.
  • Manage and oversee the development of the nursing home in collaboration with health authorities and agencies.
  • Develop and implement operations strategy for the nursing home, including but not limited to efficiency and productivity-related projects
  • Manage the streamlining of cross-department workflows and processes to maintain operational excellence
  • Engage and ensure service delivery of contracted vendors and services providers to meet business and operational requirements.
  • Assess and submit both ongoing and emergent requests for the maintenance of environmental services and equipment of the Home.
  • Ensure that adequate measures are taken to maintain and upkeep the building and environment so as to protect the health and safety of all residents and staff in the nursing home.
  • Maintain and upkeep operational SOP and act as subject matter expert to handle regular audits as required, both internal and external
  • Manage and oversee the department's budgets and expenditures.
  • Timely reporting and analysis of Operations Management System KPIs. (to consult Centre Director)
  • Other duties as assigned
Additional Responsibilities:
  • Involve in budget planning and work with other departments to monitor expenses allocated.
  • Assist in developing new nursing homes, such as acquiring equipment, development projects, costing, and planning with the Centre Director.
Qualifications:
  • Degree in Business/Building/Facilities Management/Engineering
  • 5-8 years of relevant experience, of which 2 years in a supervisory role
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Practical knowledge of Nursing Home's operations would be an advantage
  • Good coordination, interpersonal and people management skills
  • Good communication skills
  • Knowledge of data analytics, visualization, and related software.
